Because this work isn’t just about plants.

It’s about reconnecting with the land you live on… and creating something that nourishes you in return.

Meet Amanda Lehna, Landscape Designer & Founder of Botanical Horizons

Hi lovely, Im Amanda

Join the collective

I didn’t create this membership because I love gardening. I created it because I saw a disconnect.

So many outdoor spaces look beautiful on the surface, but they’re not actually doing anything. They’re not feeding you. They’re not supporting pollinators. They’re not creating a space that feels meaningful to spend time in. And I knew there had to be a better way.

With my background in horticulture and landscape design, I began to see something different—not just yards, but potential. Potential for your space to become something that gives back to you. A place that produces food, supports biodiversity, and feels like an extension of how you want to live.

But what I kept seeing over and over again was this: people weren’t lacking motivation—they were lacking clarity.

They didn’t know what to plant, where to start, how to design their space, or how to keep it all alive. And that’s where everything would stop.

One of my clients came to me feeling completely overwhelmed. She wanted a garden—something beautiful and functional—but every time she tried to plan it, she felt more stuck.

So we simplified everything. We walked through what she wanted to grow, how she wanted the space to feel, and how to make it all work together.

By the end, she didn’t just have a plan. She had confidence.

That moment stayed with me, because I realized this work isn’t just about designing gardens. It’s about helping you see what’s possible and giving you a clear path to get there.

That’s why I created The Good Soil Collective—a space where you don’t have to figure it out alone. Where you’re guided step-by-step in creating a space that is beautiful, functional, nourishing, and alive.

Because when you understand your land, you stop guessing. You stop second-guessing yourself. And you start creating something that actually works.

And it all starts with good soil.
